The Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC) has taken a number of steps in developing the Cambodian Sustainable Finance Principles with extensive discussion in Working Group meetings, Sustainable Finance Committee meetings and the member bank meetings and the Council of the ABC on 31st October 2018 has approved the circulation of Cambodian Sustainable Finance Principles. On 16th November 2018, ABC issued an official letter to all the Member Banks to adopt the Cambodia Sustainable Finance Principles. By December of 2018, a majority of Banks in Cambodia’s are adopting the Sustainable Finance Principles.
