On 8th September 2020, The General Department of Taxation hosted a meeting to discuss on the remaining issues regarding E-Filing (Desktop Application) with The Association of Banks in Cambodia and the private sector. The meeting was presided over by H.E Kong Vibol, Delegate of Royal Government in charge as Director General of the General Department of Taxation, Dr. In Channy, Chairman of the Association of Banks in Cambodia and Co-Chairman of Private Sector Working Group “E” and Oknha Sok Piseth, Co-Chairman of Tax Working Group for private sector.
The meeting was discussed on 6 main topics such as:
1. Payrolls
2. Sale Record
3. Purchase Record
4. Withholding Tax
5. Split Declaration by Branches
6. System and Testing Feedback
The meeting has reached on the agreement to delay the implementation of E-Filing (Desktop Application) to the end of December 2020 or start from the report of January 2021 and the GDT has requested to the MoEF for the approval. The GDT-ABC Working group will work together to solve the remaining issues.
