Phnom Penh, July 15, 2020: Response to LICADHO’s article on “Drive Out: One Village’s Experience with MFIs and Cross-Border Migration.”, published on the 5th May 2020, the report on “Collateral Damage: Land Loss and Abuses in Cambodia’s Microfinance Sector.” published on 7th August 2019 by LICADHO and Sahamakum Teang Tnaut as well as the report on “Work to Debt” Over-Indebtedness in Cambodia’s Garment Sector.” published on 30th June 2020 by LICADHO, CATU and CENTRAL; ABC and CMA hereby made a joint statement to those articles and reports.
