កាលពីរសៀលថ្ងៃទី២៤ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ សមាគមធនាគារនៅកម្ពុជា បានរៀបចំមហាសន្និបាតសមាជិកប្រចាំឆ្នាំ២០២៤ និងកិច្ចប្រជុំសមាជិកលើកទី៥ ក្រោមវត្តមាន លោក រ័ត្ន សោភ័ណ ប្រធានសមាគមធនាគារនៅកម្ពុជា លោក Raymond Sia អនុប្រធានសមាគម និងលោក ហោ ប៊ុនថែ ហេរញ្ញិក ព្រមជាមួយនឹងសមាជិកក្រុមប្រឹក្សាភិបាល និងសមាជិករបស់សមាគមប្រមាណជាង ៥០គ្រឹះស្ថាន។
ជាកិច្ចចាប់ផ្តើមនៃមហាសន្និបាត លោក រ័ត្ន សោភ័ណ ប្រធានសមាគមធនាគារនៅកម្ពុជា បានសម្តែងការស្វាគមន៍ប្រកបដោយភាពកក់ក្តៅជូនដល់សមាជិក-សមាជិកាទាំងអស់ ដែលបានចំណាយពេលវេលាដ៏មានតម្លៃ ចូលរួមក្នុងមហាសន្និបាត និងបានសហការល្អ និងសកម្មក្នុងការចូលរួមក្នុងសកម្មភាពរបស់សមាគមធនាគារនៅកម្ពុជានាពេលកន្លងមក។ ក្នុងឱកាសនោះ លោកប្រធានសមាគម ក៏បានជម្រាបជូនមហាសន្និបាតអំពីសមិទ្ធផលនានា ដែលសមាគមធនាគារនៅកម្ពុជាសម្រេចបានក្នុងឆ្នាំ២០២៤ និងជម្រាបជូនសមាជិកពីទិសដៅការងារប្រចាំឆ្នាំ២០២៥។ លោកប្រធានសមាគមក៏បានរំលេចជូនសមាជិក-សមាជិកា អំពីកត្តាប្រឈមមួយចំនួន ដែលបាននិងកំពុងកើតឡើងនៅលើពិភពលោក និងក្នុងតំបន់ផងដែរ ដែលកត្តាប្រឈមទាំងនោះអាចជះឥទ្ធិពលនិងបន្ទុចបង្អាក់ដល់កំណើនសេដ្ឋកិច្ចពិភពលោក ក៏ដូចជាកំណើនសេដ្ឋកិច្ចកម្ពុជាផងដែរ ជាពិសេសការរឹតបន្តឹងអត្រាពន្ធគយរបស់សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកថ្មីៗនេះ។
ទោះជាសេដ្ឋកិច្ចពិភពលោកស្ថិតក្នុងភាពមិនច្បាស់លាស់យ៉ាងណាក៏ដោយ លោក រ័ត្ន សោភ័ណ បានបង្ហាញសុទិដ្ឋនិយមថា សេដ្ឋកិច្ចកម្ពុជានៅតែរក្សាបាននូវកំណើនល្អ ដែលផ្តល់ផ្លែផ្កាដល់គ្រប់វិស័យ ជាពិសេសវិស័យធនាគារ និងហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ។ លោកប្រធានសមាគមបានបន្តទៀតថា វិស័យធនាគារ និងហិរញ្ញវត្ថុបន្តលូតលាស់ប្រកបដោយភាពស្វាហាប់ ចីរភាព និងបរិយាបន្ន ព្រមជាមួយនឹងការផ្តល់ជំនឿទុកចិត្តខ្ពស់ពីសាធារណជន។ ក្នុងសុន្ទរកថាបិទមហាសន្និបាត លោកប្រធានសមាគម បានគូសបញ្ជាក់ថា សមាគមធនាគារនៅកម្ពុជា ប្តេជ្ញាចិត្ត និងដាក់ចេញ និងអនុវត្តនូវគំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមនានា ដើម្បីជាប្រយោជន៍ដល់សមាជិក និងវិស័យធនាគារទាំងមូល ដើម្បីធានាថាវិស័យនេះនឹងបន្តរីកចម្រើននាឆ្នាំខាងមុខ៕
On the afternoon of April 24, 2025, the Association of Banks in Cambodia organized the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the 5th Members’ Meeting in the presence of Mr. Rath Sophoan, Chairman of the Association of Banks in Cambodia, Mr. Raymond Sia, Vice Chairman, and Mr. Hor Bunthe, Treasurer, along with Council Members and members from over 50 institutions.
At the beginning of the AGM, ABC Chairman Mr. Rath Sophoan warmly welcomed all members who had spent their valuable time attending and who had actively participated in the Association’s activities over the past year. On that occasion, the ABC Chairman also informed the members about the achievements the Association had made in 2024 and discussed the actions and work plans for 2025. Mr. Chairman highlighted some challenges occurring in the world and in the region that could affect and hinder global economic growth as well as Cambodian economic growth, particularly the recent tightening of US tariffs.
Despite the global economic uncertainty, Mr. Rath Sophoan expressed optimism, forecasting that the Cambodian economy would remain resilient with a similar level of growth, benefiting all sectors, especially banking and finance. The ABC Chairman continued by stating that the banking industry remains sound, with strong public confidence, as demonstrated by robust deposit growth and digital penetration, and plays a critical role in supporting our economic growth, households, and businesses, including MSMEs. In his closing speech at the AGM, the ABC Chairman emphasized that the Association remains committed and supportive of initiatives that benefit our banking industry to ensure it thrives in the coming years.
